15 Days All round Kenya safari

This 15 days all around Kenya safari is a testament to the love of nature and the continent of Africa. The trip is one you share the memory with not only your family but also with friend and the entire world. Your socials gets awash with photos, and captions of how the safari started and ended. Kenya is in east Africa, adorned with a widerange of flora, fauna, cultural diversity, and very nice weather.

You will visit Amboseli National Park located at the feet of Africa’s tallest Mountain. – Mt Kilimanjaro for endless game drives; Masai Mara national reserve for game drives, cultural tours, and hot air balloon safari; Mount Kenya for a remarkable climbing experience and finally get a romantic treat at Dian Beach along the shores of Indian Ocean.

This is a road trip, blended with lots of surprises as you triumph one region to another. Whereas English is understood and spoken here, a take home for you should be some Swahili words.

Day by Day itinerary.

Day 1: Arrival and Nairobi city tour

On your first day in Nairobi city, our company representative will meet and greet you, perusing through the safari itinerary and responding to any questions you may be having in regards to the trip. You will then drive to the hotel around the city to refresh, and have some meal. Depending on your arrival time, there will be a city tour to uncover the cultural and traditional attractions around town, do some shopping of some of those items you might be missing. End this day with dinner and a sweet slumber at the end of the day.

Day 2: Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, you will check-out of the lodge for a transfer to Amboseli national park in a 3-4 hours’ scenic road drive, with the stunning views of the landscape, plantations and scattered homesteads.

Arrive and check-in at the lodge, have lunch and follow with an evening of guided nature walk with a clear view of the backdrop of the snowcapped Mount. Kilimanjaro.

Amboseli is one of the most visited national parks In Kenya, with a large concentration of African elephants. After the evening tour, you will return to the lodge for dinner and a peaceful nap.

Day 3: Full day game drive

Wakeup to a full day game drive, with bush breakfast, and picnic lunch. With a guidance of an expert ranger guide, you will lookout for the animals, plants, birds, and more in your wish list. There is no assurance of what you will see, but these and more are present at the park; lions, African elephants, buffalos, zebras, warthogs, waterbucks, water fowls, gazelles, hippos, dik-dik, lesser kuddu, stripped hyenas, nocturnal porcupines, hyrax, crocodiles, leopards, cheetahs, and wildebeests.

There are over 350 bird species with the notable one being the ostriches, flamingoes, storks, cormorants, and more. At sunset, you will return to the lodge for dinner and a peaceful nap.

Day 4: Depart for Masai Mara Reserve

After breakfast, you will checkout of the lodge for a transfer to Masai Mara National reserve on an 8-9 hours’ drive, with an enroute stopover for lunch. The driver guide will give facts about the park you are heading to, in addition to surprise stopovers for site seeing.

Watch verdant plantations, scattered homesteads, and the happy natives waving or smiling. Arrive and register at the park in the evening, proceeding to the lodge for check-in, dinner and a peaceful nap.

Day 5: Game drive

Start your day with a sunrise game drive from 6am for roughly 4-5 hours. The morning hours is when the nocturnal and night active animals such as the lions, leopards Hyenas, cheetah and more return to their hide outs and thus the high chance of spotting them.

You get to know what happens in the wild early morning, notably how the grazers start their day. These among others are; the elephants, cape buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, warthogs, hippos, different antelope species, wildebeests, impalas, and more. Birds can be seen off their nests in search for mates, and what to eat. Among those are the ostriches, flamingos, egrets, geese, and more.

Seeing a hunt or birth is rare but possible depending on one’s luck. You will have breakfast and lunch in the wild, and then spend the evening exploring Mara which is a climax point during the great annual wildebeest migration. At sunset, you will return to the lodge for dinner and a nap.

Day 6: Hot air balloon and Masai Village tour

Just after traversing the wilderness on the ground, there are chances that you are not able to uncover everything. That is why on this day, you will wake up to a lip-smacking breakfast meal at the lodge, and then follow with a one hour hot air balloon safari where you get to have an aerial view of the open savannah park. There are animals you will hope to see in case you missed the previous day.

The activity ends with a toast of champagne in the wild. Later, you will exit for refreshment and lunch at the lodge. The evening will be spent with the Masai warriors who are the natives of this place and renowned for cattle keeping. They entertain visitors through dance, visit of the kraals, stories, jump challenge, and a walk around the manyattas. Return to the lodge at sunset for dinner and a night stay.

Day 7: Transfer to Mount. Kenya

After breakfast, say good bye to your hosts and with everything packed, hit the road to Mount Kenya. The journey time is 6-7 hours, through the narok-kaplong route. There will be an enroute stopover for lunch, and lots of attractions to see as you journey.

Get to your lodge in the evening hours and have a sumptuous dinner meal and a sweet slumber.

Day 8: Nanyuki Trail to Old Moses camp via Sirimon Park Gate

Very early in the morning, you will pick up your luggage and head to Nanyuki Trail head for a pretrekking briefing with the ranger guides who will explain the hiking dos and don’ts. Afterword’s, start the accession to old Moses camp via Sirimon park gate. At this stage, you will traverse human settlements, a forest cover, and other plantations.

You will spot and identify certain birds and animals through this trail. Lunch will be served at designated areas, as you proceed with the hike to old-moses camp for diner and a nap. You must have enough rest as each part of the hike is tasking and with change in temperature.

Day 9: Old Moses Camp to Shiptons camp (4200m)

At day break, an energizing breakfast meal will be served, after which with all that you have longer hike today. 7-8 hours with lunch enroute. To Shiptons camp, you will see distant mountain summits, moorland, plantations and more. In some lucky days; certain animals can be spotted notably the dik, buffalo’s rock hyrax and more. You will have time to take photos, and ask the guide the different questions regarding the formation of this mountain.

Mount Kenya is the tallest mountain in Kenya, and one of the tallest in the continent of Africa. End your day at Shiptons camp with dinner and sweet slumber.

Day 10: A day at Shipton Camp

You will spend this day acclimatizing, though there will be a visit of Hausberg col at point 4700m. There you will identify various vegetation, beautiful sunset and the mountain summit at a distance. Afterword’s return to the camp for a nap after dinner, as the day’s summit hike starts very early in the morning.

Day 11: Lenana Summit experience and to Mackinder’s

At the first hours of the day, you will wake up and proceed to the mountain summit with light from torches. You must be at the summit before the sun hits up, and spend time taking photos, asking questions and sight-seeing.

Through a steep landscape, you will hike to the summit, spend some time over there, and then return for Lunch and some rest at Austrian hut via Lewis’ glaciers. Descend for two hours to Mackinder’s camp where you will have dinner and a peaceful nap.

Day 12: Fly to Diani Beach 

Wakeup to a mouthwatering breakfast meal at the lodge. Thereafter, you will hit the road to the park headquarter for a certificate and to meet with your driver guide who will transfer you to Nanyuki where you will board a flight to Mombasa and then transfer to Diani beach. The other option would be to take a train from Nairobi.

When you get to Mombasa, our guide will drive you to the resort for dinner and sweet slumber.

Day 13-14: Explore Dian Beach

For two days, you will start each morning with breakfast and end with dinner. Lunch, lots of activities follow in the beach by the passing hours of the day. you will soak yourself in the white sand beach, do swim, eat the different see foods, drink, engage in some beach spot if you are interested, sun bath, chill and more.

Mingle with other people who have come to have fun, as you spend your last hours of the vacation. This day ends with  sweet slumber at the lodge.

Day 15: Departure

After breakfast, you will checkout of the lodge for a departure to the airport for your flight to the next destination. Depending on what time your flight is, we can have a city tour around Mombasa with a visit to among others fort Jesus; a must see in the area.

Other places include the shipment area, craft shops, busy streets and more.
