Detailed Itinerary
Day 1. Arrival and head to Masai Mara NR
The driver guide will pick you up from Nairobi and you will begin the safari by briefing which be followed by a transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve. A journey to this park rewards you with epic moments as you encounter the great scenery of the Great Rift Valley, the Masai homesteads and the Masai people grazing their livestock. Arrive and head to the lodge and this will create everlasting memories.
Day 2-3. Safaris in Masai Mara National Reserve
Have a great time when you encounter wildlife scenery through game drives in these two days. There will be an optional hot air ballooning adventure which rewards you with a panoramic view of the surroundings. Animals to be spotted include Elephants, Giraffes, Buffaloes, Zebra, Wildebeest, Thomson’s and Grant’s Gazelle, Eland, Topi, Impalas and many others.
While on the game drive, witness the annual wildebeest migration together with zebras which is among the wonders of the world. Also visit the Masai homestead to learn more about this unique culture through music and dances, tasting traditional dishes and many more.
Day 4. Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park
Leave Mara on the fourth day and head to Lake Nakuru National Park a found tourist destination for flamingo birds. The journey to this park is amazing since the beautiful scenery will be the order of the day. Arrive and head for an afternoon game drive where you encounter bird life and wild animals like the rhinos. Head to the lodge for your accommodation and dinner.
Day 5. Lake Nakuru to Amboseli National Park
Have another game drive in Lake Nakuru where animals like cape buffaloes, olive baboons, impalas, waterbucks, hippos, colobus monkeys, spotted hyenas, zebras, gazelles and more. Later on, head to Amboseli National Park at the foothill of Mt Kilimanjaro in the background. Have dinner after checking in at the lodge.
Day 6. Amboseli National Park Safari
Spend a full day in Amboseli National Park taking part in morning and evening game drives. Amboseli National Park offers a great view of Mt Kilimanjaro with its snow-capped background with herds of elephants, buffalos, zebras, warthogs, cheetahs, leopards, gazelles and many more. More than what is listed will be spotted and this calls for you to have your camera and Binoculars.
Day 7. Return to Nairobi. Departure.
Have a leisurely breakfast and then head back to Nairobi a journey that will last for about 5 hours’ drive. Then, be dropped off at the airport to mark the end of the safari.
