The great and memorable 8 days wildlife safari in Kenya, will take you to the most known protected areas such as Masai Mara, lake Nakuru, Naivasha and Amboseli. All these are ideal for spotting the African big five animals, big cats, great rift valley, endless plains and the chance of witnessing the annual wildebeest migration.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1. Arrival and pick up from Jomo Kenyatta Airport.
As soon as you arrive at the airport, our experienced safari driver / guide will warmly welcome you and take you through a quick briefing about the safari then later drive heading to the booked hotel in the heart of Nairobi city. Depending on your time of arrival, you may opt to do a short city tour around Nairobi and visit beautiful places within the city or relax and wait for the next day.
Day 2. Transfer to Amboseli National Park
Amboseli National Park is situated in the Southern parts of Kenya and is well known for its large herds of elephants and views of immense Mount Kilimanjaro. Enjoy your breakfast early morning from the hotel then later get back onto the journey heading to Amboseli National Park which is located in the Southern parts of Kenya. Expect to spend 3 to 4 hours driving from the heart of Kenya (Nairobi) to Amboseli National Park. Proceed and check in with the booked lodge for late lunch and relax.
Day 3. Full-day game drive
On day 3 of your safari, enjoy your delicious breakfast then embark on the journey with your packed lunch, then proceed to the park for the game safari experience. Spot as many animals as you can; for example, Dik-dik, lesser Kudu, Nocturnal porcupines, hyrax, wild dogs, elephants, mongoose, buffaloes and very many more.
You will enjoy your picnic lunch while watching them enjoying their lunch too then proceed with trekking till evening hours then drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4. Depart to Lake Nakuru National Park, afternoon game drive.
Lake Nakuru National Park also known as “a beautiful wildlife heaven” is one of the best National parks in Kenya that has one of the Rift Valley soda lakes for example lake Nakuru. Therefore, after having your delicious breakfast early morning, your safari driver guide will be ready and check out to this beautiful protected area lake Nakuru National Park.
Embark on your journey again and check in with the booked lodge for lunch. Later jump into your car and head to the park for an afternoon game drive where you will be able to watch numerous wildlife such as both the white and black rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, Cape buffaloes, impalas, pythons among others including beautiful bird species such as flamingos and many more.
Day 5. Drive to Masai Mara. Optional activity
Your breakfast will be ready in time therefore, after enjoying it you will have enough time to pack all your belongings and check out with the lodge heading to Masai Mara National Reserve. Masai Mara is believed to be one of the largest game reserves in Kenya also considered to be Africa’s greatest wildlife reserve. It will take you about four to four and a half hours, covering a distance of 264 kilometers directly from Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara.
Check in with the booked lodge during lunch hours and relax or opt to have an afternoon activity such as a community visit where you get a chance to interact with the Maasai people on, a horseback adventure. Stay for a night.
Day 6. Full-day game drive in the plains of Masai Mara.
Wake up as early as possible jump into your safari car and drive to spot some of the predators before they go back in their hideouts for example lions, cheetahs and spotted hyenas.
After driving back to the lodge for breakfast then after move back for the full day drive to spot most of the animals with your packed lunch. You will spot as many animals as possible such as a large number of hyenas, herds of elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, schools of hippos, crocodiles, wildebeests, Zebras and very many others which will make your safari more colorful and enjoyable.
Enjoy your picnic lunch as you watch these beautiful creatures enjoying theirs too or relax then proceed with the adventure as you spot more to add to your list of the day while driving back to the lodge. Check-in for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7. Depart Masai Mara to Lake Naivasha, relax
On day 7 have your breakfast early morning, sunbathe for thirty minutes then later check out with the lodge and drive to Naivasha. The drive will take you about 3.5 hours to get to Lake Naivasha. Check in for lunch then after relax as you prepare for the next activity or do any optional activity depending upon your choice.
Day 8. Enjoy any optional activity, crater lake experience and departure.
Arise early morning from your warm bed, enjoy your delicious breakfast accompanied by a cup of coffee or tea then jump into your car and head for the last amazing adventure the crater lake experience. Grab a chance to spot numerous wildlife during the walking safaris such as Giraffes, duikers and very many antelopes. You will also spot several beautiful bird species and other interesting creatures such as rocks formed due to the volcanic activity.
Retreat to the lodge for late lunch, thereafter check out with the lodge and mark it the end of your 8 days Kenya safari. Your safari driver guide will drop you at the agreed location either at the lodge or at the airport.
