Advantages of flying to Mgahinga and Bwindi than driving.

Reduction in travel hours.  Visitors need to note that a drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park or Mgahinga National Park usually takes approximately 10 hours yet a flight to Bwindi from Entebbe International Airport or Kajjansi Airfield takes approximately 1 1/2 hours. This, therefore means that a tourist has more time to relax at the lodge and enjoy the serenity and ambiance of the environment, explore more of the endowments of the park than spending valuable time on the road.

More time to explore. Since there has been a reduction in the times of travel, the visitor therefore has the opportunity to explore more of the national park endowments and watch the gorillas and bird species in the National Park.

The visitors further have the opportunity to store more energy for the activities, especially the hikes. A lot of energy is lost on the road during travel time since one has to change positions for long hours therefore making the body weak. The flight therefore saves the energy of the visitor which makes them more energetic as they embark on other activities.

Flying safaris further present the visitors with beautiful aerial views of the country’s endowments. This means that the visitor will have the opportunity to view rare bird species animals within the national parks and also the beautiful views of the Virunga range protruding through the clouds which is such an unforgettable experience.
