Toro Semliki Reserve is open for exploration throughout the year. However, the best time is the dry season, which occurs from December to February, and from June to early September. The advantages of visiting Toro Semliki Reserve during these months are quite many. Firstly, these are dry and warm months, thus providing the best weather conditions for an outdoor activity like a game drive. The dry conditions are also favorable for ensuring that the tracks remain dry, thus easing navigation. The dry season also ensures that the vegetation is not as dense as it would be if rain fell every day. The wild animals are also relatively easier to locate while on a game drive since they tend to aggregate near water sources during the dry season.
