The majestic Queen Elizabeth national park is the second most popular national park after Murchison falls in Uganda and is situated in the western part of the country in Kasese district.
It is one of the oldest game parks in the country established in the 1950s and one of the most visited tourist destinations in Uganda tours. The key features within the park include Kazinga channel that connects both Lake Edward and Lake George, Kyambura Gorge; a famous spot for primate tracking, Lake Katwe and the magnificent Rwenzori mountain nearby.

It derives its “Twin Lakes” name from the views of the twin crater lakes seen while at the lodge.
