The Inema Art Center in Kigali City

This wowing art studio was actualized by two uneducated brothers who had love for art, Nkuranga Emmanuel and Nkurunziza Innocent in 2012.

Enjoy the Inema dance

The art center is an all-round place with the artistic impressions spreading all the way to the dances. The dance group is made of about 40 kids from the area that offer a vigorous cultural dance that is truly unique and tantalizing. The dance training sessions are held on days of Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday around the evening hence tourists can get to enjoy the training as well.

Inema also hosts the nzina artwork

The nzina artwork is a group of Rwandese women that came together to sew and bead fabric together and create attractive cultural outfits. The customized designs range from kitengi pillow cases, bags crafted from gait leather, jewelry beads and other accessories and clothes that tourists can even buy and take home for both home use or work as a souvenir.

Just like the Inema art gallery, tourists can also visit this inspirational art gallery that was founded by a street child artist. The funds from this art gallery are used to create awareness and support street children in Rwanda. The museum displays creative works about the culture of Rwanda from the Niyonsenga Pacifique and other skilled artists.

The Kigali cultural village is a one stop shopping center for all cultural related items. This place should be a must visit as it has various stall that deal in Rwandese cultural designs like bags, jewelry, clothes to mention but a few.

Visit the Kigali convention Center

This wondrous structure offers wowing views given off by the bee hive liked shape of the building. The structure was inspired from Nyanza king’s palace that has the same shape. The center is offers large wide conference room spaces that can accommodate up to 2,000 delegates. With movable partition walls, there is high flexibility to tailor the rooms to the visitors needs and function needs.

Skating from the SOS school of skating

Found in Kacyiru, this school offers basic training to individuals interested in skating hence tourists can pass by and either train in skating or enjoy the views of skaters doing their thing.

Visit the Rwanda Art Museum

This museum offers modern day art works in Rwanda.  Found in the former presidential palace, the Rwanda Art Museum exhibits high quality works from both international and local artists with more than 100 art pieces that include paintings, ceramics, sculptures, and experimental works among others. These premises still have the remains of the presidential plane that was shot down on 6th April 1994 sparking the Rwanda genocide massacre.
