Day 1: Embark on a road trip from Arusha to Serengeti National Park
Today marks the start of your wildlife expedition to Serengeti National Park. This involves traveling to Serengeti and your road trip will begin from Arusha. On normal day, you will spend between and 7 hours driving from Arusha to Serengeti.
On arrival at Serengeti, you will have a lunch break and later, set off for late afternoon game drive with a professional guide. You will be amazed by plentiful of wildlife at your exposure in the savanna plains. These include the cape buffaloes, gazelles, zebras, dik-dik, lions, leopards, cheetahs, warthogs, wildebeest, hyenas, impalas, elands, and a lot more.
Besides wildlife, there are also several birds that live in the different Serengeti National Park. The park shelters about 500 bird species including Kori bustard, Egyptian goose, ostriches, Schawlow’s wheatear, rufous tailed weaver, ruppell’s vulture, little grebe, black necked grebe, ring necked doves, dusky turtle doves, and others.
Day 2: Explore the endless plains of Serengeti National Park – full day
You will get up early in order to prepare for your day excursion and this includes taking a cup of tea or coffee. After, you will drive out of the lodge with a pack of lunch. You will have a single day game drive –combination of morning and afternoon sessions. On this extensive game viewing expedition, expect to encounter myriad of wildlife while they graze or hunting for their prey.
Expect to come across wildlife such as gazelles, cheetahs, wildebeest, impalas, hippos, hyenas, topis, wildebeest, zebras, lions, cheetahs, ostriches, leopards, buffaloes, elephants and many others.
You will have time to enjoy lunch in the wild and later, continue with the afternoon game viewing session with an experienced guide. Look out for more wildlife in the plains of Serengeti and you will get back to lodge towards evening.
Day 3: Departure
Begin the day with a delicious breakfast and after, you will have a guided game drive through Serengeti Park savannas. After the sensational game drive experience, you will be dropped off at the airstrip where you will fly back to Arusha.
