Detailed Itinerary.
Day 1: Pick up at the hotel in Arusha & drive off to Tarangire National Park
Enjoy a hefty breakfast at your respective hotels and after, your professional guide will be available to pick you up. Today, you will be transferred to Tarangire National Park and expect to spend about 2-3 hours on the road.
Arrive at Tarangire early, check in your accommodation and later, you will embark on a guided game drive. On a guided game drive, expect to enjoy sight of diverse wildlife including gerenuk, lions, leopards, gazelles, zebras, wildebeest, Kudu, and several predators. From the game drive, return and have a leisurely lunch, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Drive to Lake Manyara National Park
At leisure, have a hefty breakfast and later, you will set off from the lodge. Enjoy a guided walking excursion in Mto wa Mbu farming town. The guided walk allows you explore the rice and banana plantations, visit the local beer factor, carving factory and others.
After the walking tour, proceed to Lake Manyara National Park. This will take you the shortest time to reach Lake Manyara Park. At Lake Manyara, there are several faunal species to encounter including the tree climbing lions, cape buffaloes, hippos, elephants, zebras, baboons, flamingoes, and others.
Day 3: Northern Serengeti National Park excursion
Have an early morning breakfast and after, head off to Serengeti National Park. En-route, expect to make a stopover at the Maasai village for you to explore the unique cultures and traditions. A guided game drive will be enjoyed in the afternoon.
Day 4: Northern circuit tour in Serengeti National Park
Depart from your lodge and today, you will have a full day exploration in Serengeti National Park. It is a combined morning and afternoon game drives along the Northern section of the park. While in your 4×4 safari vehicle, keep eyes on diversity of animals including the African bush elephants, leopards, giraffes, topis, rhinos, and cheetahs.
Stand a chance to observe the Great wildebeest migration. After, you will begin driving back to your lodge to have relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Central Serengeti national park
Set off for another game drive session and today, you will be exploring the Central area. You will drive for 4-5 hours on road and navigate through the scenic countryside, woodlands, Lobo area and later get back to the Seronera terrain. The Seronera area will enrich you with excellent view of wildlife. A huge concentration of predators and other numerous species will be spotted in this area including lions, leopards, cheetahs and others.
Day 6: Transfer to Ngorongoro crater
Have a delicious cup of tea or coffee and after, you will embark on a guided game drive. Today, you will have an incredible time to explore early morning risers and after, proceed up to Ngorongoro Crater/Conservation Area.
In Ngorongoro crater, you will embark on a guided a game drive. Different wildlife species that are inhabited in this area will be spotted and expect to come across the cape buffaloes, leopards, rhinos, lions elephants and birds.
Day 7: Game drive at the bottom of Ngorongoro Crater & departure
Enjoy breakfast at leisure and after, you will be picked up from your respective safari camp. Embark on a guided game drive and expect to encounter diversity of wildlife in the wild. Depart from Ngorongoro crater to Arusha and this marks the end of your 7 days safari in Tanzania.
