Small mammal species to find in Mabira Forest include link rat, big-eared swamp rat, Wahlberg’s epauletted fruit bird, hero shrew, vesper bat, etc. Birds in Mabira Forest include Nahan’s francolin, white-headed saw-wing, green-tailed bristlebill, Toro olive-greenbul, white-browed crombec, African crowned eagle, black and white casqued hornbill, grey parrot, collared sunbird, Eurasian reed-warbler, common bulbul and cinnamon chested bee-eater, etc.
Sezibwa Falls
Sezibwa Falls is situated in Mukono district, central Uganda, at least 32 kilometers from Kampala via the Kampala-Jinja highway. Sezibwa Falls is a cultural heritage site for the Baganda people. They come to this site to perform significant rituals. Sacrifices are made to allow them to get a connection with their ancestors and gods for blessings.
